Betty Hamilton, Administrator for Kelso Retirement Homes

Betty, in her role as Administrator, is the heart of Kelso Retirement Homes. For more than 14 years she’s provided unmatched compassion, leadership and vision to her team making Kelso a wonderful place to live and work. Betty oversees administrative activities and systems that support and facilitate the smooth and efficient running of Kelso Retirement Homes. She brings a personal touch when dealing with both staff and the many residents who call Kelso home.

Brenda McConkey, Director of Care

In her role as Director of Care, Brenda has been with Kelso Pines since 2001 and is Registered Practical Nurse. She has enjoyed spending much of her career in the very rewarding field of working with the elderly. Brenda’s passion for caring for the elderly extends to her free time where she has invested in continuing education courses and skills training. In her spare time Brenda enjoys baseball, crafts and reading.

Shirlaw Clark, Facility Coordinator    

Shirlaw joined the staff of Kelso Pines in 2001 and is the Facility Coordinator. Involved in both the operations of the retirement home and in the residents lives on a daily basis, Shirlaw enjoys introducing visitors and new residents to the many wonderful aspects that retirement living at Kelso can offer. You can also find Shirlaw liaisoning between residents and their family members. In her leisure time Shirlaw volunteers with the Georgian Bay Folk Society, and the Owen Sound Celtic Festival.
