Betty Hamilton, Administrator for Kelso Retirement Homes

Betty, in her role as Administrator, is the heart of Kelso Retirement Homes. For more than 14 years she’s provided unmatched compassion, leadership and vision to her team making Kelso a wonderful place to live and work. Betty oversees administrative activities and systems that support and facilitate the smooth and efficient running of Kelso Retirement Homes. She brings a personal touch when dealing with both staff and the many residents who call Kelso home.

Elaine Luckhardt, Facility Coordinator

With 26 years of experience as a nursing care professional, Elaine has been with Kelso Villa since 2002. Elaine brings passion and leadership to Kelso, establishing and maintaining positive employee relations in an environment of change.  Pivotal in introducing new families to Kelso Villa, Elaine caringly collaborates with residents and their families to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the best residential care program to meet their evolving needs. 

Susan Millar, Recreation Director

Susan is a Registered Practical Nurse and has committed her 35 year career to nursing in hospital and residential care. Joining the Kelso family of retirement homes in 2001, Susan has filled many roles including her current of Recreation Director. She has been involved in maximizing independent leisure functioning and enhancing well being by identifying with residents their leisure needs, interest, abilities and values. Working with our residents and those close to them Susan helps to develop a person-centered approach to service delivery including treatment, leisure, education and recreation participation.  Susan's philosophy; leisure contributes to one's sense of self esteem, wellness and quality of life.
